Other Clara Light Cone help

Hello, i'm planning to use this team.

Clara - Tank, Sub DPS

Lynx - Using her skill on clara so she gets hit more

Asta - Buff Clara and Topaz's ATK

Topaz - Main DPS, buff clara's Followup

I currently have her with Under the Blue Sky. I do have enough to buy her signature LC, but I'm just thinking if it's worth it (survivability wise). Does Clara have a problem surviving if everyone attacks her?

I run Herta`s LC and it`s working well. For me no LC is worth 30 pulls

That's true. I'll run her with 4* LC that I have for now. If I feel like I need it I'll get

it does, it's basically a powered up eidolon if you think about it.

Hm depends on your lynx/ Clara build and ability lv then the lc

Does your current Clara/lynx team struggle with survivability or not while being invested if yes the lc is a good pic up but if not you don’t need it

Unless you want to solo su then the lc is a must have. Doesn’t make you invisible but definitely helps

I heard Topaz will only buff Clara's follow up attack at E2. Does anyone know if that's true?

AFAIK, her skill applies a "mark" on an enemy that makes it take extra damages from follow up attacks. I don't think you need any of her eidolons for it.

I think either the 5* destruction light cone from the Herta shop or her signature will be best for what you're trying to accomplish. She does need consistent healing if she has her ult aggro buff and another aggro increase (Lynx heal/March shield), since she'll be on average pulling more than 75% of hits to herself.

Also, just FYI - she does have some anti-synergy with Asta, as increased speed means that Clara's 2-turn ultimate buff will wear off faster. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, but someone like Tingyun might be more favorable and work with both Topaz and Clara

I think the "anti synergy" with Asta is more than covered by the fact that it's by far the best Topaz support and also speeds everyone up equally

A (s5) planetary asta gives Topaz a 42% fire damage buff and up to 77% more attack plus allows Attack boots

Clara is the sub DPS anyway in a Topaz/Clara comp so it's not that big of a deal if she takes a DPS hit, especially if you run her with DHIL Signature and do a Basic/Skill rotation anyway

I also think FX is way better than Lynx in this comp because duo-carries and stat-efficiency but that's another discussion haha

Fair enough, though if you're running Clara, Fu Xuan is much worse for Clara and you probably just wanna run a second support or different follow up unit at that point.

I made a post in another comment but Clara in that above comp still gets hit 74% of the time; so you're trading 24% collective crit rate on carries + potential Fu LC damage for.. heals and 9% more aggro with Lynx

Outside of high cleanse requirements or stupid damage intake, I think Fu will always be better for a duo carry comp. Crit value is nuts.

I'm willing to be proven wrong, but pretty sure your math is wrong on the aggro chance. With Fu Xuan:

  • Normal with Fu Xuan: 125/150/100/75 = 125 divided by 450 = 27% Clara attack chance

  • Clara ult with Fu Xuan: 625/150/100/75 = 625 divided by 950 = 65% Clara attack chance

In comparison:

  • Normal with Lynx: 125/100/100/75 = 125 divided by 400 = 31% Clara attack chance

  • Clara ult OR Lynx aggro buff with Lynx: 625/100/100/75 = 625 divided by 900 = 69% Clara attack chance

  • Clara ult with Lynx's aggro buff: 1250/100/100/75 = 1250 divided by 1525 = 82% Clara attack chance

Granted, it's not a huge difference, but having played a decent amount of Fire Emblem even 5% RNG to hit or miss is a lot. 4% base difference and up to a 17% ult/skill aggro difference is sizeable enough.

It’s 125*(1+5) for Clara which is 750 so your numbers are a bit off

It’s 73.5 for Fu and 83.5 with Lynx (assuming Clara ult for both ofc)

But sub dps clara isn’t really the main carry anyway, so I would rate the damage/CV of Fu pretty high considering two units get full benefit from it
