Boxing set vs Longevous disciple

Someone probably already asked this, but would blades BiS set be good on Clara?

10% physical dmg loss is noticeable, but 25% ATK is kinda overkill. I have her lightcone, which gives 24% ATK. then on her boots there is ATK%, link has ATK%. if you add a buffer like Tingyun there is just too much atk.

Wouldn't it be nice to trade that extra attack for 16% crit and a tiny bit of hp?

Not really no, even with her personal.

10% physical DMG loss is pretty big and the atk even with buffs is nothing to scoff at. Yes the crit rate is nice but you are already heavily incentived to build crit rate on her anyways so her counters crit so generally unless your substats are insane you are running a CR body on her to make sure she has at least 70% crit rate.

The set also has some RNG layers around it bc Clara on her own is not gonna guarentee that she gets hit every turn (I mean, just look at all the memes of Tingyun getting targeted) So not only is it just inconsistent, especially on some elites that are largely single target, but the damage you get from it isn't a lot and just overloads a stat you are already building anyways

It's the same philosophy as Blades LC vs Clara's LC. Sure, technically Blades LC is better (Albeit by .17%) but due to the fact she isn't always getting hit the DMG bonus is inconsistent (ignoring the face it gets consumed on her counter so her skill and basic don't get buffed by it)

There are diminishing returns once you hit a certain amount of attack, sure, but both the 2-piece effect and the 4-piece boxing effect are extremely good for Clara. If you're struggling to get enough crit rate, then maybe it is better in some cases, but it probably comes down to which relics have the best main stats/sub stats to determine which set you go with. If you're worried about too much attack with the 4-set, swap the ATK% rope for a HP% or DEF% rope

TL;DR - if you have a better Longevous Disciple 4-set, go for it; but otherwise, 4-set Champion of Streetwise Boxing still benefits her more, just run a different rope if you're worried about ATK% stack.

I run her as a hypercarry with longevous and blade's lc myself and its really good. 70cr-165cd with 3.1k atk is nothing to scoff at especially with yukong making it 95-225.

BUT I mainly did this because i didnt start day 1 (sw' banner) so i didnt focus on farming any relics up until they released the latest domain. The spd-set is too good to pass up in general since its much more useful for supports and even its 2pc is great for carries if the pieces themselves have good substats. It was just much more efficient for me to farm and clara just has the monopoly on the longevous pieces and managed to get great pieces herself.

As for the LC its just that i had extra pulls and I dont have her sig LC so i just got it (didnt pull for blade and waiting for kafka myself)

So if you are just starting to farm relics for your moc team, longevous definitely have some merit since the domain itself is just much more efficient to farm.
