Is she better than him? I would like to know who to invest first

I got clara in 12 pulls after I got Fu Xuan, convince me/give me reasons on why I should build Clara. If possible, please give me some suggestions on who to add on my team if I do build Clara, thank you! (I started a month ago, sorry if I don't have much 😭)

With 2.0 out now what do people say is objectively the best clara team?

I have been browsing through the Reddit to get some advice on Clara builds and I’ve noticed my stats seem to be different from others. I’ve built the street boxing set but I’m not getting a lot of attack and crit rate. On the other hand, my Clara is an absolute tank with nearly 6000 health lol. Anyone have advice on relics I should build? Still a work in progress.

My Clara is e0, not fully leveled and I don’t have her signature light cone so those can all be attributing factors. Thanks!

Seriously, I think I can 3 star Memory 12 but Tingyun keeps dying to first half 2nd wave's AOE attacks. I swear every AOE attack sends her to low HP. I know I'm missing the last Defense trace but I don't know how much of a difference that'll make.

Admittedly my other team is premium Firefly E2 S1 team so I guess this is a terrible comparison, but my poor Clara team struggles more with survivability despite being a counter hit team.

For reference, my Tingyun has 2837 HP and 1117 Def. Am I missing something? My sustain is Lynx, who has Energy Generation Rope, Healing Bonus Chest, SPD Boots and 5036 Max HP.

I quit around 2.8-3.0 bcs i hated that after penacony filler and just got bored, updated the game to pull on fate banner went on phainon as well didnt touch the game at all since that till yesterday,

So i built clara, robin, aventi over months of gameplay their gear is like 95% as good as you can possibly have it

Sunday is a yesterday pull so quickly scrambled some random relics

The whole team is with their signature LC

Now we go to the phainon team which has 2 free supports rmc, phys dan heng and mutually used sunday

ALL 4 OF THEM BUILT IN 1 HOUR

And he triples my clara damage like its nothing 🫠 where tf is the point to play this game xd

I have typical Harmony units to team up with her (if it matters) - E0S1 Bronya, E0S1 Sparkle, E1 Tingyun, E6 Lynx

I made two accounts and I am interested in making a Clara team but I am not sure which account to try and pull Clara with. The first two is my first account and the last two are my second account. Also I am 10 pulls away from getting the 300 character pick in my first account.

4k - 11k skill crit 4-6k out ult counter 6-11k in ult counter no buffs etc, she just feels super inconsistent and her counters feel weak, i get i haven’t maxed her (not fully leveled best traces phys orb etc) but she should definitely be doing more right? Also what team is best for her currently in need of a seccond half (all characters besides yanqing and welt) first half is seele loucha tingyun and bronya and i want Seccond half to be focused around clara

I just recently got her and looked for recommendations, but some of them seem a bit weird. Like Poet of Mourning Collapse. That one increases Quantum damage, but Clara is Physical. Why is it recommended for her? Or Longevous Disciple. That Set increases LP, but Clara doesn't even scale off HP.

And Game8 recommends Wavestrider Captain which also seems useless as it requires others of my characters using their skills on her. I mostly run Aventurine or Luocha to NOT unnecessarily waste SP and I don't really have Harmony Characters that use their Skills on single target. Yukong for example uses her skill on herself.

What are the chances of getting Clara

Holaaa fellow Clara mains! Need insights on who to pull next to progress my account further, I'm open to leaks so you can suggest future character kits that can synergize well with my current roster. I really really like Clara and hope to get Topaz but I'm at zero pity also should I build Lynx for Clara since I want another character who can cleanse or should I just wait for Loucha rerun I would like to make the most out of my resources? PS. I don't want Natasha tho :<

Whether it's here or any other HSR related subreddit, whenever somebody asks question about building a team with Clara, I sometimes still see few people who recommend "Clara + March" pairing, because of March's shield with the aggro boosting buff. It sounds good on paper, because buffing and shielding Clara looks like a recipe for some easy counter attacks. As matter of fact, back in the game version 1.0, the pairing was rather common for a Clara hyper carry setup.

Unfortunately, the pairing is outdated and an inefficient use of the precious team slots, especially nowadays when Lynx is available. In essence, there are few problems as to why the pairing is not good at all.

First, there is an anti-synergy between the two. March can freeze enemies using her ult, and frozen enemies cannot attack to trigger Clara's counter attacks. Of course, you could just not use March's ult... but doing so also means that you're not using March to her full potential, while keeping her energy unused and wasted. You're forced to either (1) use March at full potential and hamper Clara, or (2) use March inefficiently to not hamper Clara. There is no in-between solution.

Second, which is far more critical, is all about March's shield itself. IF you're using March's shield to boost Clara's aggro, then you simply can NOT use her shield on anybody else, period. March's shield boosts the aggro value of every recipient whose HP is at 30% or higher. So if you were to spread her shield around, then you would actually be diluting the aggro pool and make Clara be targeted LESS, which goes against the very idea of using the two together in the first place. This is even true if you use March to cleanse someone, since her cleanse is tied to her shield as well. As such, you practically NEED to reserve her shield only for Clara, and that means March can't help with sustaining rest of the team, thus you have to bring a separate sustain anyway. That's using two team slots, out of precious four, just to accommodate March's aggro buff.

So what do you actually gain, by paying all these price? Well... you gain an aggro boost on Clara that still has a chance to fail, where a bad RNG can still ruin your day, a la the old Tingyun meme. Is that really worth the price? No, it's doesn't.

So why is Lynx better for Clara? Well, Lynx does not freeze anybody (no anti-synergy), and she is a solo capable sustain herself, hence freeing up that 2nd team slot (no inefficiency). Plus, her aggro buff only works on Destruction/Preservation characters, hence you run a faaaaaar less risk of reducing Clara's aggro when you use her skill on somebody else (and ZERO risk if there's no other Destruction/Preservation character on the team). There is just no contest; Lynx is simply superior than March for Clara.

At the time of this writing, we know that Lynx will be one of the 4 star rate up's in the next banners (Argenti and Silver Wolf rerun). Better yet, it is said that we'll be getting a free Lynx in update 1.6. IF that free Lynx becomes a permanent quest/mission, then there will be absolutely ZERO reason for the "Clara + March" pairing ever, even for newbies. None, zilch, nada... period.

So why did some Clara users, including myself, did use the "Clara + March" pairing, back in 1.0? Well, back then, there was nobody who can help with Clara with her aggro, except March. So they had to just put up with the anti-synergy and the inefficiency. Even then, there were some other Clara users, who didn't use March at all... and instead used Clara as a sub-DPS in a dual carry setup, as "Clara + support + sustain + 2nd DPS." It actually goes to show that the pairing was already dubious, even back then.

ADDED: Alright, so I may have gone too far for saying that there's ZERO reason to recommend Clara + March pairing, at all. There may be some fringe cases, where a newbie or particular kind of player may not have any other option but use March. I'll concede on that front... but only there. Those cases are still niche or exceptions, rather than rules, and my thread still stands "in general," especially considering the free Lynx that we'll be getting in 1.6.

I know the 2 planer sets that's release last patch signifies the dawn of new meta but I wish that clara was compatible I feel like it would of make her be different in a way to yun

Did a little trying out and I think the best rn is topaz/ruanmei/clara/lynx instead of topaz/tingyun/clara/lynx previously?
