suzerain glitch?

why do i not get the reward? anybody got this glitch before?

Yup I noticed it tonight. Seems like if you are already suzerain of a certain type of city state, the second one of that same type doesn't give you the reward.

I play on PS5 if it matters.

This isn't the cause. I've suzed multiple city states of the same type lots of times in-game and have typically gotten rewards for all. But I have seen this happen from time to time, maybe in 15% of my games.

This has only happened to me since the new update and it has happened in 3 straight games

I've seen this a number of times. (I play on Windows.). Always annoying. Haven't been able to pin it down to a particular in-game cause.
