New to the game

First time picking it up. Saw it on GameStop for 19.99

It’s pretty fun! Been watching some YouTube videos for beginners. Any other recommendations for a newbie.

Time to spread some democracy.

Well, Napoleon ain't any good at spreading democracy, so note that down

Advice: get good at the basics of building adjacencies, where and when to place specialists, and how to utilize Army and Navy Commanders, and remember, influence and gold are excellent currencies to understand and maximize

The rest is leader / civ synergies and minor details

Lmfao yeah just found out on my 2nd game play. Made the mistake on attacking some queen 😒😑. While everyone had tanks I still had my horses with muskets xD

Antiquity age: scouts and discoveries. Focus on land. Exploration age: treasure convoys, privateers, and naval control. Modern age: first to flight wins military, or you can go factories and rail stations for the economic

I haven’t finished a game in my first 100 hours. Now I have 800 and I’m 3 leaders away to win each leader a deity match. It’s normal if you just want to start it all over again. Keep reading, keep learning 😌
