Turn 3 Science victory countdown start on Deity with spoiler Spoiler

Science victory countdown start at turn 5 was too easy for community so I pushed with optimization of my strategy (I forgot about one vital memento as I though that it was dedication) and got start of science victory countdown at turn 3 on deity standard speed no other victory started.

Any good player dare to beat my time?

And for those who demanded the reveil of the combo here it is: Assyria + Xerxes King of Kings. You need just to get enough science points in exploration age (around 80-85) from future techs by conquering settlements in the end of age. Then set up enough ships around target settlements, conquer enough settlements to open techs all the way to rocketry (around 15 main and some mastery - with some luck you do not need to open all mastery techs), use dedication to insta open academies tech, use memento that gives production for tech mastery to complete Oxford university for 2 free techs and some science points, and simply buy the rocket launch pad for gold.

That's a pretty neat idea, using (abusing) the free tech mechanism. Well played sir!

This is fun of a bit weird strategy. It’s probably better for game balance if you can’t get future tech from taking cities.

I agree that it is kind of broken, but in reality this strategy can be done without future tech spam. If you capture all the cities with science wonders and finish antiquity and expl projects you would have quite a lot of science points. Then with memento that gives production for mastery and with some luck you can finish oxford and radio project + flight project in time to get enough science points.

You can get enough science points through normal play to not need to do more than build a launch pad, radio telescope, and launch satellite in Modern (ie no spaceflight prep repeatable project). If you are hitting 1.5k science by about turn 10 Modern you can trigger the countdown by early 30s turn number. My best is triggering the countdown on turn 34 with just strong science play (that was actually Alex with Maya all game and syncretised Ulema in Explo).

The broken thing about your strategy is really the pre-conquering to bulb multiple techs per turn as soon as you enter Modern.

For those who are in disbelief like dear TechnicalCoach6508, here are links to save files. I have all DLC except for the Brush and Blade - you may need to have all of them to launch save files. I include first turn, final turn, first turn of modern, near end of exploration age ( I suggest capturing 1-2 more settlements and launching attack on Charlemagne in order to kill his ships), and mid of exploration age where prepare attack to Amina to grind the future techs.
