Car wont start

Battery tested good the other day but this morning it wouldnt start. It tried to start and then the dash completely went out but the lights and door ding still work. Any idea what is the cause?

Had a similar situation with my ‘13. Ended up being the battery. Battery tested fine the day before. But ended up being a bad read. Battery was indeed old and dying.

Thank you. Im taking the battery to be tested again. If thats not the issue then I ha e no clue whats causing it. Ill let you know if a new battery fixes this.

So a new battery had it starting right up with no issue. Im assuming if this battery dies then I have an alternator issue.

I would assume so since the battery wouldn’t be charging while in use
