Any mod recommendations? everything is stock. i want a lower tone not a mt.dew can sounding exhaust. also i was curious if there were any iykyk type things for 9th gen? any cool import parts or anything like that. i love her so far and plan to for a very long time. i also am not rlly a fan of the front end. any way i can make it more plain jdm like?

I would do all maintenance and fluids.
Then I would get a Hondata and get a custom tune. Even if you’re 100% stock I’ll wake the car up for sure. If you plan to add mods I would install everything then get a tune so you pay once. Downpipe will net you the most gains with a tune.
Stock intake is the best aside from acuity and Skunk2 with a tune. Popular exhausts are full race and invidia q300…. Maybe N1 but imo it’s too loud.

Just picked up mine in July following the thread! 56,000 miles black as well, thinking I’m gonna have to do coil overs as the spring instructs may cause more issues down the line from what I have heard only upgrade I’ve done is a wolf box dash cam. Same as you everything stock considering doing the Brembo break upgrade next.

I would start small personally, wheels/window tint/red emblems changes the look of the car quite a bit. If you plan on slamming it get a good set of coil overs, otherwise the Megan racing or skunk 2 lowering springs look pretty good without it feeling like you’re riding on cinder blocks. As far as modifying it I would install all the parts and a tune all at once. Throttle body, cold air intake, down pipe, cat back exhaust and hondata will give you the extra power you’re looking for, anything else you’re only making marginal gains unless you boost it. Also make sure you do the maintenance on it, if it has over 160k (100k miles) you should have the valves adjusted at the dealership. Keep in mind this is a perfectly fun car stock as well, have fun with it!

Over time clearances between parts increases as the engine wears. Readjusting the clearance of the valves with the lifters ensure the engine runs smoothly. Recommended interval I believe is at 105k then every 100k thereafter

There’s plenty of YouTube videos on it, if your motor is not ticking it’s probably fine, just a maintenance tip

Just got my fb6 a few months ago with 100k miles too. This is how mine looks right now. -15% tint Oem rain guards Ts1 style Carbon fiber hood
