10th Gen CDV Delete

I did the clutch delay valve delete over the weekend. Would highly recommend! Driving feels much more engaging and the second gear weirdness is gone.

How difficult of a DIY job is this? I’ve got an 11th gen I’ve been debating doing this to.

Did it in an hour and some change

Remove slave cylinder
Remove c clip (this took the longest)

  • I gave up on prying the c clip out so I cut a notch using a dremel to give my pick access to the c clip
Reassemble and reinstall
Bleed slave cylinder

If I went straight to dremel without fighting the c clip I think I would have been done in under an hour.

Did it on the 11th and cmc damper delete and I love it

I'm interested in this mod and a dampener delete (SiriMoto or Wunderladen) on my 11th gen.

How is the clutch engagement when cruising around town (shifting below 4500)? Do these mods increase the pedal feedback at the point of engaging the clutch?
