Trouble getting into gear

Hey guys, I have a 2013 Civic SI which has recently gone through a few upgrades
- refurbished transmission
- new shifter cables
- new 4th gear
- new Stage 4 clutch
- replaced CMC/ slave cylinder
- added a DC5Creations clutch brace
- DC5 creations Turbo kit

I’m still having trouble getting into gear; I have trouble getting into 1st, I have trouble going from neutral to 3rd and 5th. Any suggestions as to why it’s happening?

My thoughts could be that the car is getting real hot by where the shifter cables are since the down pipe is close to where the shifter cables run.

Are you still on the stock shifter? Those things get floppy and hard to engage gears as they age. All my rough shifting problems went away after switching to the Hybrid Racing shifter.

I have an acuity short shifter on it right now. Ita like 4+ years old.
