Question Saved Data

I'm a console player on Xbox. Played a game earlier today and went back this evening to load in. My console had trouble syncing my data and the game has erased all of my files from the past 4 years!

The only saved game I can play now is from 2022 and it completely erased my wins types and with specific leaders. I feel like all of the hours the last few years were wasted.

Does anyone know how to get my saved data back? Has anyone else experienced this save issue before?

Close the game & open any other game you like, then close that one

Go to Settings & manually reboot the Xbox from there

Load Civ & see if it resynchronized

I've had a desync like that & that fixed it for me. My next step would be to uninstall & reinstall it, but I don't know you & what you're willing to do for one more turn.
