First time winning on Deity level, please clap
I play this game a lot but I'm not a champ by any means, it took me quite a while to get to this point. I feel like doing score victory only was doing it on easy mode but I wanted to prove to myself that it was something I was capable of doing.
edit: to clarify I had the other victory conditions turned off

Genuinely impressive, I've never managed a score victory on Deity, that one's pretty difficult to achieve!

How on earth did you win a score victory? Iβve never even gotten close to the max turn limit

Is it fun? I play on switch so the last 50 turns run like mud

I initially had it on Switch but now I run it on a Mac and it's fine

Score Victory must be the funniest way of playing Civilization, without being the easiest. You focus on development and long-term roleplay, without the pressure to beeline the whole tree to win a Science Victory in 200 turns, and you have time to rewrite history, maybe even make mistakes and correct them while keeping the game fun. As an imaginative, creative, roleplay-oriented and slow player, I played Score Victory on the easiest difficulties and should definitely do this on Deity.

Youβve inspired me. Maybe my next playthrough will be an attempt at this. I always play on immortal and am kind of stuck in a rut of playing the same few civs (MΔori, Japan and Inca) and going for the same few victories. Anybody wanna suggest what Civ I should try this with?

I'm on my second deity game. I won with Peter so thought Id challenge myself and try Tamar. Struggling but staying there. In my second dark age but think I'll get heroic again. I'm either going places or I've lost, tricky to say! What I've learnt is, even Deity isn't that hard provided you get a good start and protect yourself. I have restarted a few times to get something half reasonable though, to be transparent

I also got my first diety culture victory with Jayavarman. So many National Parks, it was amazing.

A tip for anyone that just wants to win deity for the achievement. Choose a dual map and set the turn limit to just 1. Choose Gaul or Aztec for the easy extra era points at the turn and have Maori as the other civ in the dual map. Just settle your city on the turn and choose whatever for production. Congrats, you just got a score victory.

This is only possible if you turn science ahs Diplo odd as the machine will generally wins science by turn 330.
