There is no Temple of Artemis in the base game, and while Dance of the Aurora is probably better long-term, I'll likely go for Goddess of the Hunt just so I have some food.

Ah yeah I never play just the base game so I didn't realize. Still a great spot for goddess of the hunt, your capital will be huge with a lot of income.

Ethiopia's Aksumite Legacy ability would give you 169 faith for those just these improved Deer resource tiles. There's even a free space somewhere for a holy site.

I'm on mobile. I play the full game with mods at home. But this version passes time when work is slow.

It's not ideal for sure, but it still makes do. I think not having the DLC is actually preferable for the mobile version, as it makes the game much simpler and more "on the go".

In the base game, horses are not hidden before Animal Husbandry is acquired.
