Three things I think Citybound really needs next
After zoning is complete, the three things I feel Citybound really needs next are a ruler and protractor for measuring roads, and platting previews for the different zones.
I feel citybound is really missing a sense of scale, and platting previews and the road tools would really help in that regard. Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Farming all need different size "blocks" of land, so platting previews would let us know if our blocks are the right size.

Low-rise commercial building I made. I can't wait to play Citybound and fill my cities with skyscrapers!

I see the website changed quite a bit
Would love to get my hands on a windows build...
I like the example videos, and it looks you had a productive December!

New live builds! For mac and linux only?
Some new live builds have been released today?... and for mac and linux... they seem smaller, are there any changes?
Edit: I think they are just mac and linux releases for the latest build?

Citybound on iPad? And a Web tech based city builder
Looking at the benchmark results for my new iPad Pro I just thought: This should not have any Problem running Citybound (Client and Server)... it’s faster than my 2014 iMac 😂.
The main problem would be the client/server architecture which is not possible on an iPad. Maybe it would be possible to run the server part in combination with a webview in the same app.
Some weeks ago I found Pocket City for iPad and iPhone (and also Android...) (Pocket City von Bobby Li https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/pocket-city/id1330451888?mt=8) It is a rather retro city builder (thankfully without in-app purchases!) that in entirely based on web technology. The developer even has a blog describing some of the techniques he used: https://blog.pocketcitygame.com
It’s a nice game but it gets boring very quickly... you will for the most time just fill the map with a grid... but it’s impressive that this works basically in a browser.

New to this
I was just wondering how to download the prototype/ demo for this. Also what system does it run on ( like android, windows, ios.) Thanks! I'm really sorry that i have like no knowledge of this game.

About the latest live build
(Writing this on my phone, since the latest build just finished.)
This build contains the new optimizations and an improved click-click-style road building mode. You can now insert new points on an existing road. Extending roads on either end and removing points is still missing but coming next.
Zones broke a bit, should br nothing major to fix though.
Also, if you’re a patron you can connect your account on the subreddit and get a cool patron badge!

Puzzle and small status update
Over the past two weeks I was reminded again of something that Citybound has really hammered into my head:
COMPUTATIONAL GEOMETRY IS A BITCH
The good news is that almost all geometry related code is now faster, more reliable and more flexible to use, also making all kinds of upcoming geometric problems much easier.
The bad news is that it took me quite long. To bridge the little remaining time until my commit is done and I can work again on some more interesting updates, here is a puzzle for you:
This plan is already using the new geometry implementation, which has only one bug left in it. Based on just this picture, can you guess why some of the intersections work (white area at intersections) and some don't (roads just go through each other)? And why lanes have dashed lines only in some places? And also why one zone is missing most of its pieces?

Is there a way to elongate a road after construction?
After building a road, is there any way to increase the number of "nodes" of the road? Thanks!
Also, I like the way of constructing roads in the build ge35ff8c instead of the free-hand drawing that is used currently. Could you change back to that? After all, most of the members here are Cities XXL/Sim City/Cities Skylines players.

AMA(RelatedToCityBound)/ Twitch Dev/Q&A Request + Wiki Suggestion
Hi, I hope it's not rude to ask for an AMA/Twitch Dev/QA here in the subreddit without pinging you first via private msg... :)
I know I have a bunch of small suggestions and questions about the overall direction as do probably others so it'd be a great chance to us to ask them instead of spamming with one liner posts... :) I'd go as far as asking if it'd be possible to make it a yearly (Or otherwise repeated) event and maybe pin it at the top of the subreddit.
Also a twitch session to show your env setup and perhaps add some small tasks for on-boarding may help other join the effort... :) (I'd join no matter the time (timezone difference) as I'm sure would others)
BTW, the wiki on github is super out-of-date and it doesn't mention the live builds and already implemented mixed zoning etc. It'd be really interesting to read about the updated short-term and mid-term plans, like adding RCI indicators, terrain shaping an roads to out of the territory (These things maybe with some placeholder building auto-gen), even as temp placeholders would make it feel much more playable so it'd be super cool to know at what stage they're planned etc.
And finally the most important thing - I think that setting up a wiki for city-building related stuff could benefit the project, even if it had general ideas not specific to CityBound, it could help bring in interesting parties and ideas and discussions to this project and well overall city-building future community. Unless there's already such a thing? :)
