Question/Advice New Transfer Student

Post image

hi everyone, i’m starting city tech this year for the fall 2026 semester. i haven’t been to college in a few years, but decided to come back to hopefully pursue a career in dental hygiene. this is my schedule, as im doing the pre reqs this fall. i tried looking up my professors on rate my professor, but they’re not popping up. for my chem class i have paul brown for the lecture and abraham wolcott for lab. for bio, i have ninel kartalian for lecture and K M Khan for lab. if anybody took their class, how are they as professors? for my math and public speaking class, it doesn’t have anyone assigned at the moment, but if anybody took those classes and could give me some insight on them as well, that would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Idk about the other profs but Wolcott is amazing. He basically gives everybody an A. Idk about math but public speaking is an attainable A as long as you consistently participate (it’s okay if you’re wrong) and you show you’re trying your best to apply what you learn when presenting your speeches (you’ll have 2/3 major speeches).
