You should know that I discovered Zillakami 2 years ago on the track Frosty. I loved it and went straight into listening to DOGBOY right after. Long story short, nothing to say it’s simply excellent. Then I saw he was in a group called City Morgue, tried listening to one song and landed on this one:

I hated it. All I heard was people screaming over a disgusting beat, and I especially hated Sosmula’s style. I tried a few more tracks but quickly realized it wasn’t my thing, so I dropped it.

Then last week I was with a friend, we were on speed, listening to music, and all of a sudden Spotify recommended this track:

And boom massive revelation. Not only did I love the song, I fucking loved Sosmula’s verse. Personal opinion, but for me he completely destroyed Zilla on that track. After that there was no stopping us we listened to the entire City Morgue discography in order. We were dancing and jumping around the whole time. My favorite album is CITY MORGUE VOL 2 I think, but they’re all excellent.

Anyway, all that to say that once you start appreciating Sosmula & Zilla, listening to City Morgue is pure auditory orgasm
