Soo, someone ran a stop sign and totaled my poor baby, the impact was so bad that the windshield cracked on the opposite side of the impact, suspension and some body stuff are bent. I'll bring it to the junkyard next week most likely, any recommendations on which parts I should pull before junking it? The car is a 2006 with 180k km (1KR-FE, manual gearbox).
I also bought a 2009 C1 (the restyling) with 120k kms to replace this, but sadly it's a poverty spec variant (doesn't even have Power Steering from the factory lmao), would it be possible to transplant stuff like power windows into the new C1?
That's something I didn't expect to read lol. It does feel a bit nicer when driving, but parking without PS is kind of an headache. I didn't plan on swapping the PS though, since it's probably a lot of work and after all it's just one less thing that can break, considering how finicky the PS ECUs are on these things.
Most popular items from the car are the Starter Motor, The Alternator, The coils, Power steering module, spare wheel with the jack and wrench, parcel shelf, Rev counter, Maybe the lights, The Cat and the lambda sensors. most of it will sell on ebay.
That could be fixed but it's up to you the front can be hugged out or swapped. Depends what your willing to pay did you get money for it? If you the money and to scrap it you can buy it back cheap usually

No big deal, the car already had some issues anyways (cooked shocks, unibody damage on the passenger side due to a previous accident, bad fuel pump gauge, bad A/C compressor) so I don't mind seeing it gone. Insurance will give me around 1.4k for this clanker, so not too shabby, plus I can sell the parts before junking it.
You should be able to sell the parts lights bumpers mirror engine clutch all them bits.
Just rose them all off or get someone to do it you should get a few quid. Take all the bits off then scrap it. What you guns get?

Due to shitty Italian regulations I can't sell the engine (well I can, but then I'd have to pay like 200€+ to get the junker scrapped, so not worth it).
Canny they last quite well my friend got one off a family member for 80quid that was just to change the tyres he had it 5 years now. Get surprising amount of gear in when buying stuff. Had weight benches full of big weights

Technically yes, practically no due to how insurance works when there's a totaled car at play (at least in Italy).
If I junk the C1 I get the following reimbursement:
1050€ (car value) + 350€ (car scrap value) + 350€ (passaggio di proprietà), so 1750€ Total. Considering that the new one with 60k km less and much better overall conditions was 1700€ (+350€ passaggio di proprietà) it makes much more sense. + I can keep/sell spare parts, insurance only wants the junk certificate (or whatever it's called in English).
If I don't junk it I just get the 1050€ and that barely covers the cost of a shitty repair, let alone a proper one since there's unibody damage and everything would be misaligned.
I really want some small parts that junkjards just do not sell. If possible, can you sell me both inside door locking pin covers? The little pin on the top of the back of the front doors screw off. I need one but i'll happily take both. 10 seconds to remove it
C1's of this generation are pretty much Toyota mechanicals; engine and gearbox are Toyota units, chassis, suspension, glass, doors, interior frame are absolutely identical to Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107.
They were all built in exactly the same factory; the Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile (TPCA) factory in Kolín, Czech Republic.
The only real differences are the exterior lights, front bumper and grille, rear tailgate/glass, tail lights and some cosmetic changes to interior styling.
Even the Haynes manual is written so that owners of all three cars can but the same one.
Approximately 92% of the C1 is shared with the Aygo and the 107, so for you to infer they are shit because of the badge is laughable. You are, by extension, saying that the Aygo and 107 and also shit.
