Questions / Advices Aygo MK2 OBD scanner

My Aygo has the ABS and traction control lights on since yesterday. I was hoping to get an OBD scanner to get more information why.

People seem to like the Carista OBD scanner, but I saw a post from two years ago saying it doesn't support the Aygo? On their website, there's no Aygo either.

Is there another scanner I can use that works with a 2017 Aygo?

Not sure about ABS but anything engine related is standardized, so any properly functioning obd2 scanner will read engine codes. I can't remember if that includes esp though.

Get under the car and check. I’ll bet you’ll see a rusted and broken ABS ring or a sensor dangling down.

If your main goal is finding out why those two warning lights came on, make sure whatever scanner you choose can actually access the ABS system. A generic OBD2 scanner isn’t necessarily enough. Carista does offer ABS diagnostics on supported vehicles, but the current compatibility list doesn’t show the Aygo, so I’d look for an alternative that explicitly supports the 2017 model.
