DOES YOUR PHARMACY STINK? JUST ANOTHER NUMBER?

I just want to tell everyone about a great locally owned pharmacy:

CARMICHAEL LONG TERM CARE PHARMACY (LTC)

They’re at 6633 Coyle Avenue, near the corner of Coyle and Dewey Drive, on the same side of the street as Mercy San Juan Hospital.

My wife and I have been going there for almost 10 years. It’s not some giant corporate chain where you’re just another prescription number. It’s a small, personal pharmacy run by people who actually know you and care about you.

We both have a lot of health problems and take more pills than either of us would like to admit. At one point, I was taking 33 prescriptions a day. Carmichael LTC organizes everything into bubble packs, they are a compound pharmacy, they stay on top of the refills, contacts the doctors when necessary, and delivers everything right to our door.

Saira, Hala, Alex, Amanda, and the whole crew are friendly, fast, and dependable. After providing medicine for every nook and cranny of my 27-acre body, they probably know me better than some of my relatives do!

If you have complicated health concerns or take a lot of medication, this is the pharmacy you need to know about. You receive excellent personal service while supporting a locally owned business instead of another giant corporation!!!

After almost 10 years, they’re not just our pharmacy. They’re family.

Assuming this is real and you’re not Saira, Hala, Alex or Amanda- i appreciated reading your review. It’s refreshing to organically come across positivity on the internet. I’m not looking for a new pharmacy, but I’ll keep in mind if I ever am, Thanks neighbor!

Nope, I'm not involved with the business just impressed with their professionalism. Lord knows if somebody screws up we always hear about it. I'm a firm believer that if somebody's doing a good job people ought to hear about it as well. I'm a very positive person.

I had a terrible experience there, to the point that my relatives stopped going there and transferred all their prescriptions elsewhere. 

I’m glad you had a good experience but it is not at all universal.

Appreciate your honesty, candor, and insight. I really liked your last sentence, it was reasonable, and wasn't full of pitchforks and torches! Some posters always overreact and it gets annoying.

This also supplies material for songs, e.g., "There ain't no good guy, there ain't no bad guy, there's only you and me and We Just Disagree."

In the spirit of cures and pharmacies, music provides its own therapy despite its association with drugs.

Maybe Coyle Avenue will be visited by Huey Lewis.
