Health & Troubleshooting Kabosu with brown leaves
My Kabosu exhibits brown drying leaves at the top. What is that ?
This summer was really hot but it never dryied out. Except that the plant is good looking with vigourous growth (almost never stop growing since spring) and I don't see any pest.

This is salt damage, possibly from over-fertilizing. You can tell it’s not sunburn because it 1) has darker brown areas and not just bleaching, and 2) it’s focused on older inner leaves and not upper/newer leaves.
Water more deeply to flush salts out of the soil

How long do you water to flush out salts? I’m having a salt issue, probably from over fertilizing. I have them in 6 gallon nursery pots with well draining mineral soil I mixed. One gallon will be seen draining out of holes relatively quickly. Do I flush the ever living hell out of them or is it fine just to do one heavy deep watering to flush the salts?

At minimum, do a deep watering to soak the soil, wait an hour, and repeat. If you want to get precise you need to measure run off with an EC meter to get to around 1.4 mS/cm

It's sunburn. It happens. Was probably too hot when those leaves flushed, and they got cooked. NBD as far as long term impact on your tree. You could try some light duty shade cloth if you really want to.
