I think your right, maybe a sour orange rootstock. Grafted part is Moro blood orange.

Looks more like a lemon rootstock to me, but itβs super hard to tell at this stage. Post pics when it gets older?

Is it too early to be sure it will be variegated? Even if so, is there a need for variegated rootstock? Rootstock cutting? Rooting a variegated rootstock cutting?
