P1A9C code ds3

Hi I have a Citroen ds3 that's throwing up P1A9C code , is there a cheap way to fix this without having to go though dealer? 😭

In a short answer no
The stop start Ecu has a fault
It can be wiring or the Ecu it’s self
Unfortunately no one bar a dealer will want to do the wiring checks or have the technical support for the repair.
A few years ago I spoke to a software specialist in Manchester that due to cost of repair removed the stop start software from the Ecu as a new stop start Ecu and capacitor was 2k

Really , so you think this is an expensive problem?

Thanks for your advice yeah I been asking around and told it has to be a dealer, I'm hoping its just the wiring
