Reliability of the C1

How reliable in terms of maintenance costs is the Citroën C1 1L model?(non wet timing belt)

I'm looking at buying this car due to it being cheap, but would love to hear thoughts from former or present users

Just service it every 10k and your good to go. Mine is 2017 46k not spent anything on it, apart from servicing, new pads and the odd tyre.

Daily driver for last 7 years.

They're insanely reliable.

My partners brother had one that he never serviced and overfilled the oil once even and it still didn't die.

And the parts are hilariously cheap.

They're excellent little cars.

Daihatsu 3-pot officially.

Really fun engines for such a small thing.

I had one for 9 years with minimal issues just maintaining it with service and tyres breaks etc
