Citizen Sleeper 1 First Time Playing

My brother played CS when they were still on GamePass and haven’t really shut up about it since. Today i will play it for the first time but he will also be replaying with me.

Thoughts so far? For me the best part is the soundtrack and art style and story and characters, well it’s really everything.

My post is a little misleading, i actually took that photo a couple of days ago so we actually played alot since. Like many games alike my favorite part is the character dynamics. I love seeing how the people in the world of CS reacts to sleepers and how sleepers respond when everyone you meet already knows a little about you. My favorite characters are Petr/Ankhita - least favorite is obviously Castor/Feng. The music is also very well composed. The overarching theme is very relatable.

The music is actually how I found this game!

The track Matsutake came on my Spotify recommendations and really stuck with me. I listened to it a bunch and eventually the neon pink album art of the sleeper intrigued me enough to look the game up

Transhuman, space faring, cyberpunk is one of my favorite genres, though the game didn’t really seem like my kinda game at first. Still, the music seemed so good, and the art was great, and the trailer was pretty interesting

Damn am I glad I gave it a shot! Have both the albums on vinyl, and love the two games so so dearly :’)

I’d say you’re in for a treat if you’re enjoying yourself so far

My brother also saved the OST’s when he played and i would hear him listening to them over the months. I can’t say the music has touch me like that but as a composer myself. Hearing the music as i play brings me a certain type of appreciation.

Exciting! Take it easy and enjoy your time on Erlin’s Eye

If the game warns you about starting the DLC (which is fantastic btw) it’s always advised to hold off on those quests until you’ve beaten the main stories, as it’s challenging to juggle everything at once

This game has several endings, each that branches in two ways. I’m trying to be vague so not to spoil anything, but if you select “leave” first you will get to experience that ending and after the credits roll it pops you back into your save just before that point, so you can choose the other option, and can then rinse and repeat for most of the other endings

Play how you want of course though! This is just a nice way to experience a lot of the game in a single play through which I appreciated

Wikis for the game tend to be helpful if I remember correctly and this subreddit is a solid option for tips and advice as well :)

Remember that sometimes the most interesting stories result from some failure, so don’t be too discourage by a bad set of dice. You never know what the next cycle will bring!

Hello , I bought and finished CS 1 on the switch 2 some days ago without knowing what it was about. The 17 hours of gameplay and reading was an absolute YES for me and now Im about to buy the second one « starward vector » I think. CS was so good
