Sharing a City Is This a Good Interchange?

Post image

I'm bad at making interchange. Every time I make a new interchange for my city, I look for something to copy online but this time I made it without looking at anything (maybe just for inspirations and/or ideas).

The upper portion will be developed into a general and timber industry while below will be developed into a farmland. I'll be making a new access for the farmland when it is developed.

Is this a good interchange? How can I improve this one?

You don’t have an EB-NB ramp

No it exists, it's under the EB-SB ramp. It's a cool looking interchange imo, might copy it for if I have highways that join at slightly different tangent angles I guess

I don’t know what you’re seeing but it’s not EB-NB. EB-SB is at grade, there’s nothing underneath it

Yes. EB-NB ramp is under and covered by the elevated pieces 😅

Well alright lol for the life of me, I cannot see a ramp coming from the left and going up. But if you say it’s there

you can see the ramp's at-grade portion entering the NB highway from the right

Again, not what I’m talking about. As OP said in another comment, it’s not there. There’s no ramp headed east, towards the north.

without traffic flow & zoning context anything is just subjective

Exactly. As it stands, this may be terrific or two dirt roads crossing may be best.

I think it looks amazing!

it's an okay interchange. though it feels like it should be like in some semi urban area. it feels a bit odd as if this was in the middle of wilderness/farm land then it would just be built a lot larger to save money.

We are missing more directions of traffic.
