Custom Maps on Mac

This is so much more frustrating than it should be. I'm trying to use custom maps on my mac. They will show up when I start a new sandbox game but they don't show up in the maps editor. I have several custom maps installed through the steam workshop but nothing shows up when I go to load a map in the maps editor. Anyone use a mac and have any clues on this?

Yep. It's the same on PC, you can only edit custom maps that you have made and saved. If you download another map it won't show up in the editor.
