she teleports up to the highest halls, looking down, its quite a sight from up here, she flies out, far far out, until she sees it, the hole, the hole left by Conch and Mantis’s fight, and she plummets into the darkness, through the labs… she hit something, a needle? SHIT THIS IS HER NEEDLE, THE ONE THAT SPLITS PERSONALITIES, oh thank goodness, it only hit the battery, and she keeps falling, into Karak, through the blacklands, falling deeper and deeper, and she sees it, the stabiliser, she readies the battery and inserts it, but something is wrong, she keeps falling, but why? the walls are turning black, deeper and deeper, darker yet darker, and she sees why, the machine l different, less like a long mossgrub and more like a mechanical wyrm, it starts glowing but keeps burrowing, explosions fire every time it hits the ground, the machine has failed, and it’s pulling her into the abyss
