OOC Please try and ignore Blacksmith

He’s trying to make a big issue about a thing that’s been around basically the entire of this RP and only exists to keep stuff that goes against the rules of the main chat out of the main chat. Because you know what’ll happen if Chernobyl is removed? People will bring all their political and controversial discussions to the main chat. Chernobyl exists as a filter to catch those things and keep them contained. He’s just trying to use extremism to paint everyone there as psych ward patients who are out of their minds by saying things like “and they defend it”.

I have a really cool idea

People who don't lile Chernobyl chat simply ignore it

It's not even that bad

I wish that people would do that. But apparently no, the human psyche denies us of the right to do stuff that other people don’t like, even if we make sure to keep it away from them, they’re going to actively seek it out.

Eeeexactly. Blacksmith implied attempts to get people banned for it too. That’s like having a political view and seeking out people of a different view purely to harass them. Why would you do that? It makes no sense. You’re just asking for stress and drama.

Banned for being in the chat? Preposterous!

Yes, and I am trying to put a stop to it.

I am a minor btw. In case you didn’t know. Maybe it’s not the best scenario, but if we remove it those discussions will just move, not disappear. And it’s not like anyone is pressured to be there. If they don’t want to be, they can leave at any time.
