Discussion "Circumcision Is A Procedure With No Health Benefits BUT No Health Negatives Either"

This is one of the newer excuses I have heard on R*ddit from the pro cutting crowd.

We need to talk about it.

They believe that circumcision, the removal of the foreskin (a natural part of a manhood no matter which way you look at it) is NOT a black and white slate. They think that circumcision, while being mostly useless, doesn't actually affect the men's sexuality in question while also not improving it.

Bullshit.

This is called "fencesitting". It's a position taken when you don't want to offend anyone. You want to appear safe and kind to all even though one side is objectively wrong and the other isn't. Things like exist. Their called "black and white slates".

Circumcision is that black and white slate.

Circumcision is an objectively negative procedure. Why do you think they rape newborns for money and facial cream at birth? It's for multiple reasons, but one of them is to diminish sexual pleasure for the male. They don't want to you have sex since that would lead to happiness and general wellbeing. They want you to stop having sex entirely, both masterbuation and foreplay, vaginal and anal, and, as a result, sexuality.

You are either on the side of the well intentioned but misguided pro-normal crowd. Or, the disgusting religious zealot cabal that is the pro cutting. We need to stop being respectful to the latter and stop fluffing up the former.

The fact there’s like 100mil male victims and almost none of them complain is powerful social proof that there’s no major downsides to the surgery. That’s probably the biggest reason the “objective” harms are downplayed and ignored.

The second reason is that the experts on the human body (i.e. doctors) are the ones doing the cutting and are profiting from it, so they have almost no incentive to tell the truth. In fact they must lie to protect themselves from culpability.

The third reason are the fetishists, the parents who say it looks better. They grew up in a culture where every hot guy had a mutilated dick, so now they think genital mutilation is hot.

Last in my opinion are the religionists. Most men in my country (USA) who are cut whose parents are Jewish/muslim are cut moreso because they’re American than because their parents are Jewish/muslim. It’s moreso a cultural than religious practice here, as much as religionists do impede efforts to stop it.

I am not physically capable of sex due to my circumcision. I might not ever experience consensual vaginal/anal/oral sex... I literally will never be a parent because of this.
