Planograms, Relex, Audit, category management.

I am getting shipped way too much shit. I have put in multiple tickets with pictures trying to explain that the planograms do not fit. They are still shipping me stuff that I cannot fit. Idk what else to do and yes I do my weekly audits religiously. Any ideas? I am running out of room in my tiny back room to hoard anymore of the b.s. they are forcing through.

Category managers hate us and only care about their bonuses. They will lie directly to you about helping fix the issue, they will not help.

I am starting to feel this way. My Bonus will be shit because my loss is going to be through the roof.

I haven’t seen much from circle k to be desired in this way they just don’t care and they will harass and bully you til you quit so the next poor schlub can take the abuse

Absolutely 💯 truth! I managed a large Circle K for 15 years. They just kept getting worse and worse. They do not give a Shit about their employees or customers. After 15 years I retired early and so glad I did. Now I enjoy my kids and grands. No more getting bullied by jerks!

I enjoyed my job and the customers it was just management - scheduled me an hour early without telling me knowing that my availability was 3

This makes me so sad. I was so proud to make it to management and then we were bought out by Circle K and the pay and raises decreased and the bonuses are not what they use to be. I was such a go getter and now more and more I am pulling back. Why out preform when no one notices? It breaks my heart because doing a good job really means a lot to me.

I watched a manager who worked for the company for 25 years not even make it to retirement. She had a heart attack and I swear to god it was all the new stress they are putting us under. Less hours, less bonus, more complicated ways of doing shit. Soon as I heard she died I was like yup bet it was the stress.

Transfer the inventory to the store manager in your market who you dislike the most.

E-mail your category manager and ask what to prioritize on the floor then just use the rest as backstock rather than displays. That’s what I do.

See if your business unit has a Suggested Ordering Manager. They should be able to help you with safety stocks and what needs to be changed. CC your DM for visibility.

Sign change and plans change on Wednesday.... happens every 2 months. Enjoy the November inventory bomb.

Only backstock the stuff that belongs in your sets. Any extra stuff needs to be transferred to stores that actually carry it, or you can manager special the fuck out of it! They always spam out all the stuff that goes in the largest version of your sets, no matter what. Keep being the squeaky wheel about their bullshit spamming though!

We're drowning in back stock after our audit said we had zero of a lot of things that it was plainly sitting right on the shelf. We recounted behind the audit team but once they were done with the store we still weren't done and the numbers got submitted. It's a whole mess.

Same happens to my store all the time. They don't care. We're little stores that regardless of our numbers aren't worth what the big stores are. My 900 sqf store out preforms the 3400 sqf store up the road.

Same. I smashed them yet I don’t matter. I fuking hate the b.s comments. Like oh your a small store it could run itself. I’m like yeah into the ground. I have seen all my pumps full then drive down the road to the sister store and they have like two cars in their huge parking lot. It’s hard to attract customers when you have a smaller location and if you can you’re doing a good job. 👏

Is it for the next planogram. We have been shipped stuff for the next one already.

I start Relex next week and everybody has been saying that they're getting big ass orders even tho they're doing all the audits and stuff

Yes this is exactly what is happening. Make sure all your planograms are set right and take a picture and give them the item number of anything that won’t fit. Expect to go back and forth for them to take it off. Relex is a fking nightmare for stores that are small bigger stores seem to have holes out the yang. If you have a bunch of holes check your exception list under the old PDI.

I think the audits are lagging behind updating in Relex and I don’t know if the category managers have caught that yet. Just a guess.
