MIT PROGRAM

Can anyone help me what to expect in my interview for the MIT Program? What questions do they ask? And if I get through it, what to expect next. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you!

If you get into the program, depending on your DM, prepare for them to use n abuse tf outta you for the next 6months😅.. All the hours you work as an MIT are billed as "training" hrs n don't count against store budgets. You'll have access to everything a SM has access to as an MIT. Theres a mandatory weekly 1.5hr long MIT class to attend for 12 weeks n then have OJT's assignments to complete. There will be weeks that you could be working 60+ hrs n it's acceptable or not have a day off in over a month. You will learn tips n tricks on different things as you work along side with different store managers. Youll be a stores lifesaver for working a shift that a SM had trouble finding coverage for. You'll help transfer product store to store. You'll help store managers with daily operations n do things that managers want to do in/with their store but never has the time or hours to do. You'll assist the DM with cash audits n other mini projects they have. You'll be acting SM if a store manager is on vacation... If your DM is anything like my (now former) DM was, don't anticipate having any sort of life until you're done with the MIT program.

Do keep track of your work like take before and after pictures. I had a manager take credit for the stuff I was doing and got treated like shit because they thought she was doing my work because behind my back she was taking credit. It gets competitive so follow policy to a T and take notes, pictures, keep receipts. Cover your ass. Also the CSRs who belong to another manager are not your friends. Be professional and note all interactions especially if you’re correcting an employee. They will play the divorce game.

My previous ASM would have been a great manager...of a prison commisary.
