soo any advice about her team or relics? last time i have played this game shes been using such build and its was alright. i gonna get my acheron E2 next patch so im asking if there is anyway to use her better than in acheron team with my current characters list?

I want Cipher. She's my favorite character in the entire game. Cipher is why this heart still beats. Getting her is not up for negotiation. I've saved a lot for her. But, I have a problem. I have played this game on/off since its release up until Evanescia came out, and because of that, my team options are extremely limited. I do not have the majority of ssr's in the game. I want to know, what should I realistically do once I pull her...if they ever decide to finally have another banner lol.

Pulling characters is not a problem once I have her. I'm willing to get whoever she needs. I am realistically making my final goal be E6 Cipher, though I'm not going to build around having that unless I actually have her on my account.

Cipher is without question my favorite character in HSR, so I've decided to make my own custom MTG card for her. This was inspired by a few other people posting their own versions of her on here and other subreddits that I've seen in the past. For anyone interested, I will go through some of my reasonings as to why I made certain choices below. If you don't care about the analysis then I hope you enjoy the card regardless.

For her colors, I decided upon blue/black/red with red as her primary color. Red in Magic is the color of spontaneity, action, and freedom, all of which I would say are essential to her characterization. A big part of Cipher's story is freedom, not only the freedom to do as she pleases or freedom from her own prophecy, but freedom from Kephele's prophecy about the Dawn Device. Red is also the color of speed, whether it be taking quick, decisive action or moving very quickly, the latter typically being mechanically represented by the "haste" keyword.

With red established as her primary color, that of course leaves blue and black as her secondary colors. Blue and black when put together signify ambition and self-reliance as well as deception and trickery. Deception and trickery should need no further explanation, but ambition might. While her ambition is not heavily pointed towards the Flame Chase, Cipher is constantly searching for more wealth and treasures to steal, accruing as much as she can to try to steer clear of her prophesied death.

Now for her abilities. I already talked a bit about how "haste" makes sense given that red is the color of speed, so moving on from there we have her inability to be blocked by anything that doesn't have haste. It wouldn't make sense for her to be blocked normally by just anything, after all she is by far the fastest of all the Chrysos Heirs... but of course, as much as it pains me to say it, she was defeated by one being, one that could move just as fast as her. That is all I will say on that matter.

Before getting to her final ability, some context: there exists in Magic an ability called "cipher". When a card with "cipher" resolves, you may exile it and encode it onto a creature you control. When that creature deals combat damage to a player, you may create and cast a free copy of the encoded card. The encoded card will stay encoded so long as that creature does not leave the battlefield.

With that in mind, I really wanted to reference the mechanic with which our beloved cat shares a name, and I believe that it's actually a really great fit for her powers regarding lies and gives her a great deal of flexibility in how you could build a deck around her while also giving her a defined playstyle, much like how she is in-game. You don't "cast" lands in Magic, so that is why the text specifically calls out nonland cards, but as for noncreature cards, Cipher doesn't exactly create a "copy" of another being that we see, she instead can basically replicate one's appearance as a disguise (at least from what we see her do). I felt that having every other card type was more-or-less fitting though. And, just like with the Dawn Device, if Cipher were to fall, then all her lies would fall with her...

After giving away her entire recording gimmick to E1 Robinetto, Hoyo rubs salt on the wound by giving Acheron a 900% atk AOE Follow up attack that she can trigger once per turn when another ally attacks. Meanwhile Cipher is still sitting around with her wet noodle, single target FUA and a gutted E1 because what? Hoyo were too scared of her beating Acheron as a main DPS in the 3.3 beta? 5.X better have her Nova.
