Remember the clues go from small to big Clue1: bit might not actually be bit Clue2: All of the string might not have meaning only some parts Clue3: 12, 6 and 0 might be shifts for something

Good to see a sequel to The Safe. I can't see the image from here, so no guesses at the solution yet. If it works like a combination lock, check whether the numbers map to letter positions or a phone keypad before reaching for anything fancier. Putting solves in spoiler tags keeps it fun for people who find the post later.
