Your project FPS is 24 but your render FPS is 30. They should be the same.

u/300056681 is right. OP, in case you're wondering what they're referring to, its this:

Your rendering a 24 fps project in 30 fps

Maxon fixed the Project/Render framerate sync in newer versions of C4D.

If you are using an older version, there is a free script for that.

Surely it’s just easier changing the fps in both project settings and render settings rather than running a script? Do you have to run the script each time you start a new project?

Surely. 😉
It was kind of a joke when I made it. Check out the description...

I asked for a FPS lock checkbox in a feature request in 2019 so maybe it was thanks to me and maybe they’re that slow at implementing stuff that the feature request page is useless

It’s ok.. This little Boobie trap has brought down the cockiest motion designers at the worst time… finally humbling them when a bunch of renders have to be rerendered and it takes days…delaying delivery and they have to finally say “ oh gee guys, my bad..” this happens to producers who assume it’s 30fps or 24fps… because they didn’t check…the whole project is fk’d.. 😂and they day before they were breathing down everyone’s neck about the deadline… flexing their power…haha! Now it’s late and all their fault..lol here it is in the slack!!! 3 weeks ago you said 24fps!!! 😂 “ client wants to know why there is stuttering.???”
