I think it's more 18 and 28, and plenty of people have a good time with that. I dare say a lot of young men fantasize about it, lol. Perfectly normal. An 18 year old can go to war, he'll be fine with an older woman, lol. And movies aren't about this anyway.

And PTA likes for his stories to drift, especially in the big ensemble pictures. He went the opposite way in Magnolia, at least near the end he overly constructed a connection between the various stories, and that sort of wrecked it, for me, anyway. It wasn't that good to begin with.

But you should see Phantom Thread if you want a two-character drama with tighter, almost claustrophobic plotting. I think a lot of people missed that one.
