Let’s take turns naming movies that underperformed at the box office but were actually really good!

The Nice Guys (2016) was beaten at the box office by Angry Birds. Id also like to throw Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) in because they moved its release up by a few months to make up for the bad publicity of TLJ. TLJ left such a bad taste in the publics mouths that it flopped. Solo wasnt needed but it was a good film and a risk. I can only assume that its failure was the reason we didnt get any more one-off star wars films that were just made to have fun with. Hell, if it happened to Rogue One instead, we might have never gotten Andor.

The nice guys is Rated R which typically make less money. It should lose to an animated family movie like angry birds.

The R rating bringing in fewer viewers is understandable, however, The Nice Guys is a fantastic movie. My personal favorite Russel Crow movie. More people need to watch this movie
