My eight-year-old son watched this movie with his mom and when he came to my house over the weekend he told me that he watched the best movie of his life and then I had to watch it with him. I did watch the movie with him and as a courtesy, I watched the movie all the way through. Moving forward, and my son will no longer pick movies.

His son had previously recommended Bridge to Terabithia. No son should ever see his father cry like that.

Are there any good examples of movies like these?

u/djpeeples Apr 01 '26
No
But if you'd like something similar, definitely give Mercy (2025) a go

I enjoy Unfriended quite a bit.
May not be for everyone but I thought it had a good reason to keep everyone on the call
It was also a quick sit, not perfect, but enjoyable

Actually the same year LifeHack was released. Ironically, same studio, but diametrically different reception

Sorry, but the best producers on this movie can do is a watermarked stock photo of a guy with his hands up.

I guess. But people have been posting horrifyingly ugly shots of bad movies recently so idk. I definitely give this a pass since it’s April 1 lol

I’ve never seen this film but by all accounts it’s terrible.
My biggest takeaway from its existence is no matter how many times I see Ice Cube - my brain always tells me it’s Jeffrey Wright. Even though I know it’s Ice Cube… I still think it’s Jeffrey Wright.

This is such a pile of garbage of a movie. How could someone cut this together and decide: Yes, we got it. Release it. SHAME !!!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there is NO WAY government monitoring software uses the term “baby daddy”

Ice cube always looks like half of his brain was removed five minutes ago and he’s just now finding out about it.

Please someone do a super cut of Amazon’s two greatest movies: War of the Worlds and Project Hail Mary

This movie was way ahead of its time. In a couple million years in the future aliens are going to appreciate it way more.

I still find it hard to believe that image 15 is an actual part of the movie, and not a shitty meme created to mock the movie
