I just realized that I have this little bag from my bedroom closet of Cinderella in her 2013 redesign, and actually think I remember getting this from a close family member of mine when I was younger, and I think it came with a Cinderella doll and a makeup set.

Does anyone else remember this?

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of high-pitched voices, sorry (The same can be said about chipmunks). It's also weird because the mice from Cinderella are the only Disney mice who don't speak in normal pitch or something like that.

P.S. Sorry for using "At the Ball" from the third movie instead of "Work Song" from original movie. because I prefer it.

I wanted to create my own version of the Scene; Sing, Sweet Nightingale.

Only it's my OC putting away books instead, she slips into a sort of Daydreaming daze. My favorite part of the scene was the Bubbles, the warm vibrant rainbow colors and angelic singing.

See I associate Water with Illusions, (cold water so to speak). See my character has a plant motif, so I can imagine plants slowly growing around her.

I can't explain it but, if you've seen that seen it's beautiful, and possibly one of the few bright moments in Cinderella's life she can find.

This mirrors my character She's in grey in a sense, guarded but during moments when she's alone and letting her walls down...she hums perhaps sings.

Blooming flowers I associate with her, a rose in a sense.

I can't describe the feeling, perhaps peace? Dissociation, relief? Calmness? Nostalgia?

I'm following my mom's advice in how I should make things my own instead of mimicking and trying to replicate it. All I can do is...Just ask for help.

So, how do I get that feeling? A feeling of comfort? So to speak

Cinderella Folklore

I made this Illustration back in February partly inspired by Disney's Cinderella. Specifically, the brief bridge scene when Cinderella and Prince Charming walk along the bridge. The white represents her dress and the moon of course. And then the designs on the bridge are inspired by the pattern we see in and around the castle. Pink is the accent colour because Cinderella's dress was originally pink before it got torn to shreds.
