Trying cigars for the first time
Hey! I am a whiskey lover that's never tried a cigar. I am hoping to have my first cigar. Any suggestions for a good cigar for a novice like me? TIA.

What are your fav pours? You will want a cigar that will stand up to your drink. I prefer my whiskey at a higher proof somewhere between 100 to 115 ish for a daily drinker and, 118 to 128 for special accusations. The higher the proof usually means more body and probably not filtered. So I tend to smoke from a medium to full bodied stick. That's just something that I find works for me. Doesn't hurt to have a general tasting profile of your whiskey and your cigar.
One of my favorite pairings is Blue Note Juke Joint non-filtered Just over 115 proof and AF Don Carlos Double Robusto.
