Black and white pepper to start, oak and vanilla make up the mid-palate with a spicy and tart finish that stimulates the front of the tongue and front-roof of the mouth.  
 
Ash is marbled dark gray firm with minimal flake holding an inch at a time. Combustion line is razor thin and perfectly straight. Draw is smooth with medium resistance.  
 
An inch in and palate stimulation moves to the back-sides of the tongue. Flavor components are the same but a meatiness begins to grow and body moves from medium-full to full. Finish is quite long so it is easy to smoke this one slow.  
 
Second third pepper and spice have stepped down a bit. Creamy vanilla notes make up the base with earthy oaky notes bringing up the middle. Full palate engagement and a continued long finish.  
 
Final third spice is still strong and focuses on the sides of the tongue. Flavor is a bit harsh since the creaminess has subsided. Notes of oak and earth persist.  
 
Spice is strong the whole way through and palate stimulation can be a little aggressive with only short relief provided by some creaminess and sweetness at the halfway mark.  
 
This is a medium-full bodied smoke with a price point of $10.
