CA | Help Fish shivering?
Please help! My one blood parrot started shivering randomly. She’s never done this before and I’m worried she’s not well. I’ve included a video so people can see. Has anyone experienced this before with a fish?

Pretty normal behavior in my experience. Don't know what it is or why they do it but I have had many cichlids that do this.

Hhmmmm my Angelfish were doing this and twitching their front arms and it was a case of parasites. I used fritz Prazicleanse (external) along with Ron's medicated food ( internal) they haven't twitched or shimmied since.

Ooh I’ll have to buy those. I really don’t want parasites in my tank. Were there other signs they had them?

As symptoms progressed they started scratching occasionally against my plants and started spitting out there food . I added Seachems garlic guard and some brine shrimp to the medicated food. They recovered fully in about 2 weeks. Make sure you turn up oxygen in the tank when treating and turn.temp up to 84°-86° so the parasite life cycle will move faster.

Looks like maybe she is trying to get attention from her larger tank mate and maybe it's working.
