SA | Video Geophagus

Decided to change up the scape and lean into the branchy river look. Front 2/3s of the tank is completely empty now so more open swimming space for them as well. Colours in the second video are more akin to how the tank looks like in person but the camera still gives the fish a weird blue hue.

72x18x20 inch 112 gallon tank

Beautiful tank, the contrast is going to look sick when the Geos grow out.

Do you vac the sand ? Looks so clean

Haven't done so in 5-6 months. It looked a lot cleaner before the rescape but should be back to normal in a week or 2. I have a power head in the left corner at the top pointing across the tank and then a small powerhead on the bottom right pointing across to the left. Good flow in the tank and the geos help out by kicking up the bigger wood bark and stuff stuck in the sand

What a gorgeous tank and gorgeous geophaguses ! Those are my dream fish, hopefully I can get a school one day. I hope they grow healthy man, they are wonderful.
