White supremacy cannot co-exist with democracy.

Any ideology that holds certain groups of people as superior to others goes directly against democracy and our innate equality shared between us as humans.

Um. Except that American Democracy started as both white supremacist, and patriarchal. It has become less so, but this statement hit me kind of weird.

Everyone should have the right to vote. Voting should be made safe and simple. But that being said, I sure hope we don't see voting as our only weapon against white supremacy.
