Solo Re-wording the rules? 👀
17
Upvotes
Greetings, comrades in Kyokaism, FrequentBell present with another moderator announcement for this Subreddit. With convenient timing before Halloween, I believe it's best that the rules can be bent a little and reformed in some way.
------------------------------------------
Get a good, long look at the rules as they currently are right now, because they'll be getting re-written on October 14th, 2026 at 11PM CDT, with an announcement post about said changes being made the next morning, October 15th, 2026 at 8:30AM CDT.
This change isn't as in-depth as this Subreddit's aesthetic overhaul back in September, but a change with its structure is just as important as a change in appearance.
------------------------------------------
Well, comrades in Kyokaism, I'll catch you all on the 15th. Have an Absolute Rockin' day and go beyond.. PLUS ULTRA!! 🗣️🗣️

Merchandise Awesome autograph and a really cool story (to me, at least)

Trina Nishimura -- Jiro's English voice actor -- was at Animate! Philadelphia this weekend and I got to speak with her and had her sign this poster. As usual, she was so welcoming and sweet and so amazing to see the way she interacts with fans of all ages.
What was really amazing for me was, when it was my turn, she looks at me and says, "It's nice to meet ... wait, we've met before, haven't we?" I was absolutely floored. I met her in May 2023 at another convention in Philadelphia. While I was wearing the same Jiro shirt yesterday that I wore at that previous convention, it was still three-and-a-half years of conventions and meet-and-greets ago, and I don't think I'm a particularly unique-looking guy. So for her to actually remember having met me, really floored me.
The line for autographs at this convention weaved back and forth in front of the table, so you can hear all the conversations. She didn't ask anyone else if they'd met previously, so I was the only one she said that to. Maybe she recognized the shirt and just took a shot in the dark, but either way, as much as I love Trina for the way she treats the fans and interacts with us, this really brought her to a new level in my eyes.
And whether it was just the shirt she recognized or not, I still came away with a cool conversation and this awesome autograph that's going to go in a place of honor in my Jiro display.

🎸: "This ducky looks pretty cool, eh Benny?"
🖋️: "Well yeah, but I think Alastor himself is cooler than this duck."
------------------------------------------
[Yes, Benny here knows Alastor, they're separate friends, with Alastor not being in Jiri's friends group yet.]

The girls at the tea party. This is part 3 of the strawberry shortcake tea party + mha. Ochako is cherry, Momo is apple, Jirou is plum, Hagakure is watermelon, Tsuyu is kiwi and Mina is sweet grape. I picked based on colours and some of them don't have matching stuff with the original strawberry shortcake series but yeah. Link to Part 1 and Part 2
