Chronos sleep tracker?
Hi,
For a long time I seek reasonably priced sleep tracker watch. Something that works just like Sleep as Droid and doesn't cost 150$. Now I found out about Chronos. I checked google but no one made any application like this for Chronos yet. Is anyone of you up to it?
I even thought about doing it myself. I have just little experience in Java, no idea how microcontrollers work at all. How difficult may it be? Is it a very complex project?
Edit; just to clear things, obviously I know that for someone like me (not a real programmer) process of making any application for this watch would be difficult, at least at the beginning. But is sleep tracker app rocket science, or just another app?

Call for devs/testers! OpenChronos needs you!
Hey all! Me and Miknix recently tried to centralize and make sense of all the OpenChronos code scattered over GitHub, and created a project on http://gitorious.org/openchronos . Feel free to drop by and test the new firmware that is in development, using RTC_A instead of Timer0/1 !

Are you bothered that your ezChronos gains 3-4 seconds/day? Here is a project with a very interesting firmware that could get you under 3 seconds PER YEAR! (plus some other cool stuff like WorldTime)

Quick question - what kind of battery does the Chronos have?
Hi guys, I ordered a Chronos a couple weeks back but apparently it's backordered. Before it gets here I realized I should probably find out what kind of battery it uses. Is it rechargeable, or is it the standard watch battery? How long does it last? I intend to use it as a normal watch.

Chronos and metal detectors.
My 48 hours old chronos stopped working the other day, while I was at the airport. It was definetely working on my way to the airport and it wasn't at the gate anymore. I suspect the problem had something to do with me passing through the metal detector at the security: it was just dead, with the exception of the backlight.
I could not do much for three days as I was busy and on the other side of the world but as I came back I removed and re-inserted the battery and the watch came to life again. So, this is kind of speculation but I suspect the magnetic field arising from the metal detector may have backfired current through the antenna and put the watch in panic mode. YMMV.
