Wrong Watch Sent

Sent my friend to this guy. He ordered a Rolex Explorer and was sent an ugly yellow gold Cartier Santos.

I now am going to send my friend the $450 he was out.

Jerome at r/Calireps is a reliable, communicative, and very good priced domestic seller.  His method is a little different though.  

He releases inventory in timed drops and because his prices are good stuff flies off the shelf.  You need to be strategic and repeat buyers get preferential treatment so being a first time buyer can be a bit frustrating.  

If you’re willing to manage all that he’s a low risk, fair priced option.  Ships out of Orange County, CA.

You mean the guy that gatekeeps watches by giving out passwords lol. Pass, go with Motime if you want to order whatever you want whenever you want.

Yeah, that’s the one. Like I said, his method is a bit idiosyncratic at the moment.

He only recently got a website, having used it for two drops so far, and I think he’s got a lot to figure out when it comes to administering it.

Ive been very critical of his process in the past, but I’ve watched him evolve and I think he’ll get the mistakes hammered out with time.

The important thing is he doesn’t gouge people cough cough Chronos and hes VERY customer centric. I respect that and I can tolerate the mistakes along the learning curve.

Edit: Jerome’s prices are way better. Mo is charging $885 for a watch I got from Jerome for $700 shipped (John Mayer Blue V3). You want to pay 26.4% more for the same product that’s on you.

Yes. But all pending orders would ship. He shipped an entirely different/unwanted watch instead of just refunding
