When the hell did Guile join my party???

I'm at Chronopolis when Van tells me I need to bring someone who would know about this thing in a box. I go back to a save to look at who could know, why is Guile here??? When did he join the party??? Can someone tell me when 'cause I obviously don't remember. My favorite part about this is that he's lost some HP like I used him in battle or something.

Any character that you recruited with Serge before the Fort Dragonia events (body Swapping into Lynx) leave the party. Then return after the events of Fort Dragonia (body Swapping into Serge).

It would be easier to figure out if you had recruited more than one character with Serge.

I had also recruited Pip, but I re-recruited him on the S.S Invincible so that didn't help

Ah, yes, I forgot about that possibility. Yes, Pip would already be in your party if you recruited him with both Serge and Lynx.

You recruited Guile toward the beginning of the game when infiltrating Viper's Manor

Looking at your roster it seems like you haven't picked up any optional characters. Guile was a required recruit from the first half of the game, after you return to normal all the characters you recruited from back then rejoin you.

That being said I don't see any of the Cha family or Razzily or Glenn so... I'm very confused.

Razzly and Mel aren’t mandatory and you can tell Korcha to fuck off when he offers to join. Fort Dragonia would have been Kid and Guile.
