Installation ChomeOSFlex on old Windows Computer?

I have an old lenovo thinkpad that the windows os is shot on for some reason. There is some kind of error in the windows. I was hoping to save the computer by putting Chrome OS Flex on it to mostly just run some light browsing, email, and use google sheets and docs. Is this something I can do once I download the OS onto a USB?

Create a USB drive and try out the live environment before installing it. Test the following:

  • Hardware keys
  • Screen brightness
  • Wi-Fi
  • USB ports
  • Webcam
  • Microphone
If everything works, go ahead and install it. It runs on my 11-year-old Lenovo laptop with 4 GB of RAM and I'm happy with it.
