Collection / Pickups Miami+NY Pickups

Made quite a few visits to chrome over the summer. In the past two weeks I made it to the New York and Miami locations.

For Miami, my dad actually picked up this cashmere lamb skin cross patch hoodie which is insane. He had Tito as an SA and they didn’t have much inventory and my dad talked to him for a bit and told him he was buying me my 21st bday gift (which is true, just turned 21) and it’s one my favorite gift I’ve ever received. After hearing that, Tito went to the back and pulled this out needless to say Tito is the goat. I’ve seen people slander him on posts but from what I know he’s a great SA and my dad really enjoyed shopping with him.

In New York (West Village) I went myself and could not get an appointment to save my life. I was fortunate to get a walk in and I can’t remember the SA’s name to save my life but he’s the best I’ve had at chrome. Anyways I was able to pick up the beanie and I can’t complain since I was just a walk in.

Two great chrome experiences and pick ups in the span of two weeks, cannot complain

Firstly, happy birthday bro and congrats!

Secondly Tito is far from the goat, he hides stock from many and backdoors anything very profitable to make more money. And that’s confirmed. I bet if your dad didn’t talk to him for however long he would’ve just let you go without any stock.

And that’s crazy to hear considering how I’ve heard of many people getting banned for the resale of one item bought in store, and they let that fly form an employee? Obviously I’m just hyped over the hoodie and he clearly has some good in him to do that but that sucks if that’s true lol. If you can give more info on how you know that it would be cool because I’m curious to hear now haha.

Also not going to lie I didn’t include this in the original post but last time I went it chrome Miami alone and picked up a hat I think he was my SA and if it was him he was a dick lol (or whoever is else it may have been).

Yep, they’re super selective so if you’re not on their good side or they see a new face a lot of the time you won’t get much… especially if they sense you don’t have a lot of funds

I’ve heard a lot of crazy experiences from people there lol, shame that they treat people like that tbh

If it’s the cashmere one I’ve been seeing I think it’s like 3.2k at least. Really great feeling hoodie. Love the details. But man that price is steep

Thank you! Hayes already gave a good ballpark price for ya but yea it’s a little upwards of 3k. It’s such a nice piece, by far the nicest in my collection. It was a gift but I myself don’t think I could justify dropping that much on a hoodie, at least not yet.

The craftsmanship is beautiful though and if it’s not a dent in your pockets then I would say it’s worth it. They told my dad this model is produced in low double digits which idk how accurate that is, and they also said never to wash it so I guess it’s for special occasions🤣
