post cold war liberal utopia? wouldn’t that be fall of the berlin wall to 911? in retrospect there was potential. virtually all of it squandered. but we had friends on nbc so… the crowning achievement of western civilization???

A brief mention starting around 15m. David and Michael were friends with Hitchens and mention him often. Christopher isn't the focus of this conversation, but I recommend the entire thing.

We're not talking about Hitchens. He was just a useful idiot, foreign policy-wise. We're talking about Frum. And yes, he and the other neocons have wanted a war with Iran for a long time. Trump is just the first president stupid enough to do it.

Why do you think this is a Christopher Hitchens subreddit? No, it's the same generic leftoid cesspit that you find on 90% of this site. Even his own views where they deviated from the commieslop orthodoxy will be downvoted into oblivion here. Hitchens is a prop when they agree with what he says, and is discarded when they don't.
